On March 27th, at 8:30pm, people around the world will be turning off their lights in order to demand action on climate change. The UofT Astronomy Public Tours, in collaboration with ASX, will be participating by holding an observing session from 8:00 to 10:00pm. We will take advantage of the darker skies and observe through our 16-inch, 10-inch, 8-inch and balcony telescopes on the 15th and 16th floor of the MacLennan Physical Labs building at 60 St. George street. Weather permitting, we should be able to see such objects as Mars, Saturn, the Moon, and the Orion Nebula.
